Janitorial Duties

  • Daily:
    • Bathroom and Kitchen Trash Emptied
    • Clean Toilets, Sinks and Vanities in Bathrooms
    • Sweep Lobbies
    • Restock Paper Products
  • Tuesday, Thursday and Friday:
    • Empty all office recycling containers (SEE NOTE)
  • Weekly:
    • Fully Vacuum Carpets
    • Remove smudges from doors and door trim
    • Sweep and Mop Tile
    • Sweep down stairs
  • Monthly:
    • Sweep Baseboards
    • Dust Window Sills
    • Dust Common Area (Building Lobbies) Furniture
    • Wipe Down Kitchen Cabinets
    • Change Office Can liners
    • Clean fluorescent light lenses
  • Quarterly:
    • Change Air Filters
    • Fill Bathroom Floor Drains
    • Dust and check emergency lights

Note: All food and drink items must be disposed of in kitchen trash containers. Liquids must be poured in the sink before it is placed in kitchen trash containers. Trash collection bags leak and will cause carpets to be stained. Carpet cleaning is the responsibility of the tenant. Cleaning of Microwaves, refrigerators, kitchen tables and office furniture are the responsibility of the tenant.
